Meet the Weimaraners
Jagger went onto fulfill all my dreams and then some. His registered name was CH Bremar Freedom Hills Hi Yield, UD, NSD, NRD, VX. He was on the Top 10 obedience lists for two years, both the Delaney and Schuman systems, served as a pet therapy dog, appeared in several commercials, both TV and print and performed in shows at the Champlain Valley Fair Grounds for 6 years. He was my best buddy and a once in a lifetime dog. |
Freedom Hills originated 20 years ago. It all started when I arrived at Bremar Kennels to temperment test a litter of Weimaraners out of Ishtar. Getting a weimaraner puppy was the furthest thing from my mind, in fact I had a litter of three week old Goldens in the whelping box. Little did I know I would be chosen by a young puppy, whom I later named Jagger, to be his owner. During the testing he was high spirited, personable, and best of all, he loved to retrieve. After his test I turned to Pam and said "This puppy should go to an obedience home". And she looked at me and said "You're an obedience home." And that's how I came to be involved with Weimaraners.
